ESA004: Upgrade instructions for V1.6

The database structure has changed in V1.6.

These special instructions enable the transfer of existing data and settings from V1.0/V1.4/V1.5 to V1.6.

Step by step instructions follow:

1. Backup your existing S&A installation;
   (particularly the database 'easyquizz.mdb' and customized files in the '/skins' sub-folder)
2. Extract S&A V1.6 to a temporary location on your local PC;
3. Delete the '/skins' and '/dbase' sub-folders from those extracted in step 2;
4. Copy all the files left from step 3 over your existing installation;
5. Display the home page or log on to the 'Administration Work Pad' to automatically upgrade your current database;
6. Test the new installation with trial survey and/or quiz plus log on to the Administration Workpad and User Area for functionality checks.
