How do install Adobe Acrobat?
Adobe Acrobat is supplied on the Resource Exchange
CD. To install:
- Insert Resource Exchange CD into your CD drive;
- Wait for the popup installer screen to be displayed;
- Select 'explore cd';
- Open the 'Utilities' folder, then 'Acrobat' folder;
- Double click on 'ar32e301.exe' to start the Adobe Acrobat
installer; and
- Follow the instructions on screen.
How do I access the User Manual?
The user manual can be accessed 2 ways:
- Direct from CD - select 'view user manual' on the initial startup
screen
- Installed on Hard Drive - Select 'Start|Programs|GP Resource
Exchange|Resource Exchange Manual'
Notes: The User Manual is an Adobe '.pdf' document,
requiring Adobe Acrobat to be installed beforehand.
How do I install the network
version?
Refer to detailed installation instructions on the Resource Exchange CD
- Insert Resource Exchange CD into your CD drive;
- Wait for the popup installer screen to be displayed;
- Select 'view readme': and
- Refer to '3.2 Network Installation'.
How do I uninstall Resource
Exchange?
- Select 'Start|Settings|Control Panel';
- Double click on 'Add/Remove Programs';
- Scroll down the list of installed programs and select 'GP
Resource Exchange';
- Click on the 'Add/Remove...' button; and
- Follow the instructions on screen.
Warning! Uninstalling Resource
Exchange will also delete all data. To retain data, locate the file 'exchange_be.mdb' and
copy it to another location. The default location is C:\Program Files\Resource
Exchange\Data
