SC001: Setup Sport Club to use on a Local Area Network
(LAN)

Sport Club allows multi-user access across a internal local area
network (LAN).
To setup Sport Club for use across a LAN:
- Install Sport Club on a local PC;
- Exit Sport Club if open;
- Move the data files 'cc_data.mdb' & 'sc_data.mdb' to your
choice of location on a shared local area network drive;
Notes:
* The files 'cc_data.mdb' & 'sc_data.mdb' are normally located in the folder:
C:\Program Files\Global Presence\Sport Club\Data\
* Important - 'move' the files rather than 'copy' them to
ensure the data files are NOT kept in their original location.
- Start Sport Club and follow the automatic prompts to locate the data files
(at the shared local area network location chosen in step 3).
To access Sport Club from another PC on the LAN:
- Install Sport Club on the PC needing access;
- Delete the data files 'cc_data.mdb' & 'sc_data.mdb'
on the PC where Sport Club was just installed;
Note:
* The files 'cc_data.mdb' & 'sc_data.mdb' are normally located in the
folder:
C:\Program Files\Global Presence\Sport Club\Data\
- Start Sport Club and follow the automatic prompts to locate the data
files on the local area network.
Note:
* Multi-user access to Sport Club on a local area network does not
require the purchase of additional
licences ie only one licence is needed.
